DIFFERENT MORNING ON WATIES

It was a different morning on Waties!  As we were headed out to the island this morning there was a big tree across the road so we turned around and went back to the cottage and went in along the road that runs straight at the entrance.

The weather was gloomy, but there was no lightning or thunder.  Sarah, Keela and Jingles said they had just a little rain at the northern end.         BRING BUG SPAY!!!  WE COULDN'T GET THE MOSQUITOES OFF OF US FAST ENOUGH WHEN WE WERE LEAVING THE ISLAND.

At one point the sun came out and the Sea Oates were glistening in the sun.
ANY BODY KNOW WHAT THIS IS?  I  Came across it below the high tide line.  It is about 2 1/2 to 3 inches in length, has a light colored underside and sort of an orange colored body under the top shell.  The large punchers are part of it's head.

Jingles and Keela rescued a baby duck.
