ALMOST MISSED THE CRAWL

It was a cool and breezy morning.  Probably kept the mosquitos down.  The tide was near the wrack line when we entered the beach and had receded some by the time I took this picture.  By the time Linda, Joan and I had reached the jetty we had not heard from
the group who headed south and figured we had another day without a crawl.  WRONG!  Karen met us and told us that they did have a crawl that was almost wiped out with the wind.  She told us that they almost missed it due to the wind and the tide when we entered the beach.

The sea turtle wasn't there long, and from the looks of things, she was entering the ocean when we entered the beach.  It was definitely a false crawl because she went up to the higher wrack line, turned around and went back into the ocean.
