It's that time of year for our volunteers to wake up early, watch the sunrise and walk Waties Island looking for sea turtle crawls and nests. The Leads and myself would like to welcome back our veteran volunteers, and to our 13 new volunteers this season. We also have some returning Coastal Carolina University students, and several new ones who are some of our new volunteers.
To recap last year, we had 12 Loggerhead Nests, 6 False Crawls, and 6 unique nesting females. I believe we are all excited for the start of a new season. Good luck to all!
