Friday July 19 Nest 23 and an emergence too!!

The Empty Nesters are now known as The Late Bloomers!!

Two Fridays in a row after waiting all summer!! Nest 23 was found just short of

marker 4. A nice body pit and the eggs were easy to find!! We also discovered

that Nest 2 which is just a few feet away had emerged. Day 57 of incubation. 

We will inventory this nest on Monday morning. Then, at marker 5 we found that

Nest 1 had a nice depression, indicating activity in the nest and an emergence soon

to happen!! A great day for our group!!
