Suprise on 9/11 - Nest 25/PN6

As walkers were walking up the beach they saw tracks leading to the ocean,  they were from PN #6 which was laid on 7/14.  This lady took a tour of the dune and left a body pit at the very top of the dune. After much probing by Kim and Karen, it became a PN #6.  Today after finding the emergence it is now  Nest 25!!  Picture above it how they found it this morning.

After the  inventory the rest of us walked up to see the tracks.  Jewel and Kim walked up to the nest and Jewel sees a hatchling trying to climb out.  This is a rare event at this time of the morning.

Picture below shows how far this little guy had to travel to get to water.
If you look closely you can see tracks going down and how they spread out .

Karen got this shot as he was passing by this shoe print  showing just how small these hatchlings are.

Happy faces watching this little one going to the ocean on such a lovely morning

Many thanks to all that contributed pictures of today's events.
