Nests 13 and 14 on this Hot 7/15

Busy hot morning on Waties.  Started with beautiful sunrise.

First crawl which was between M5 and M6, well, she was all over.  Came up and down twice before she found the right spot.  She is one of our smaller turtles 33". Crawl so wide we could not get in one picture.

She stopped right by nest 6 but decided to move on.
As I started to work this nest Leslie continued the walk. Did not take long to hear from her -  she found another nice neat crawl right at M7.

She crawled as far s she could and laid her nest at the base of the dune.  She is 36" so may be more mature, very neat.

We were lucky to find both nests quickly since no breeze and very hot.

At nest 12 by Access Road, we caught 2 GC in trap.  Nest 11 not so lucky, we found 2 new holes, 1 egg shell.  We did catch 1 GC in trap.
