Friday, June 5th No crawls, no nests, King Tide

Paulette and Leslie were out this morning.  It was a nice morning, humidity was up, and we only hit a little sprinkle of rain coming back across the causeway.

It was high tide, a tough walk on the long end, no hard sand to walk one.  The Full moon is tonight, and we have another King Tide from the 4th - 6th.  The upper end is eroding, not a lot of beach at high tide.  The wrack line is at the base of the dunes.

No nests, no crawls.  All of our nests are fine.  Here's a list of "Lots of"
 - Sargasso, lots of balloon ribbon intertwined in this stuff
 - Wrack - above Marker 5/6 there is a now a double line of wrack - makes walking tough
 - Balloons and Balloon ribbon
 - Trash -  picked up only the large stuff, bottles, cans, bait containers, sun glasses - big bag of trash came home with me.
 - Portuguese Man O' Wars - even more than what I saw on Wednesday, beware when picking up trash- the sail part may look like a plastic bag, especially when the sun shines on it.  They are intermixed with both wrack lines, so they are not just located along the water line
