No new crawls by our "special" turtle, but all the way up at the jetty there was a new set of tracks: and these looked very promising! The availability of good nesting sites on that part of the beach are few and far between, but this mother turtle found a good spot above the reaches of the high tides.

Mario checking out the nest |

Tracks were evened out by the high tide overnight |
Mario probed, Kinsey probed, Sarah probed, Steve probed and probed but the nest chamber wasn't found. Because it did have all the signs of a nest, the site will be labeled as a PN (possible nest). We will keep an eye on it and looks for signs of an emergence later in the season. Fingers crossed!
Thanks to Kinsey for sharing her pictures today.
