It turned out to be another wet morning. It was a good and fast rain with a rainbow when it ended. Cooled us off and kept the bugs away. Rachael and Grace went up and Sherrie and I headed towards the lower end. Below MM 1 and the SCU sign, we came across a crawl below the high tide line.
Waties Island, the northernmost barrier island in South Carolina is roughly 4.0 km in length. It is a private undeveloped barrier island at the border of North/South Carolina. All sea turtle monitoring by this group is authorized by the SCDNR Marine Turtle Conservation Program under Permit MTP500. We strive to help protect the sea turtle, and we are at it again this season! The site will be updated often during the nesting season - May 1st through October.

Tuesday 7/5/2022 FC #15
Our turtle came in and went right back out.
It was a very small crawl measuring only 27" wide.
Below is FC #13 from last Wednesday. Could this be a PN?
Lots of Ghost Crab activity with small holes.
After the rain, a beautiful rainbow over Cherry Grove. Unfortunately it is barely visible.
Tuesday's Team congratulates Flossie and Bill
It was a pleasure walking with Tuesday's Team.
This Doe had no problem having her picture taken!
