Sunday September 8 Inventory of Nest 18

The Sunday walkers were tasked to inventory Nest 18 above marker 8. This nest was laid on Sun. July 7 and had emerged on Monday, Sept. 2, day 57. We were not able to inventory it until after the storm. Today we found 91 hatched eggs and 23 unhatched eggs (two of those were pipped) and one dead hatchling. 79% hatch success.  It looks as if our nests survived Dorian intact.
We also found a few straggler hatchling tracks at Nest 21R. This nest has emerged and will be inventoried on Tuesday.
