On Saturday, April 12, a beach clean up was held on Waties Island. It was a beautiful day on the island and everyone seemed to enjoy the day. Seventeen people helped to collect 51 bags of trash, 2 tires, a 55 gallon drum and a metal tent frame.

Sea turtle monitoring starts on May 1 and the beach is ready.
